“Don Antonio”, a neighbor of 69 years old, who has shown great interest in learning how to compost. His objectives are to be able to increase the productivity of his harvests and reduce the use of chemical fertilizer.

The Calles family. Mrs. Dalila Calles has 3 children. She and her husband have started to practice composting and in only 3 months they have produced rich and well nutrient humus. They are also very proud of their children since now they have learned how to separate garbage and contribute every day to the success of the composting process.

The Hernandez Martinez family! These leaders have taken a step ahead and have spread the word to other neighboring communities. They have proved that with composting we can improve our soils issues and solve our garbage excess in the community.

“Don Guayo Diaz” and his family: They have shown their willingness to make this project grow. They have actually made another Composting tumbler in order to don’t waste any food waste and being able to recycle as much as they can. This family is planning to harvest organic vegetables and sell them in their small market in the community.

Gutierrez family: Mrs. Gutierrez is a seamstress; she gets to spend most of her time at home due her job. Despite of having a very limited place to make her compost, she has gotten great results. Her plans are to extend her garden and harvest her own vegetables in order to balance her economy and contribute to have a healthier environment in the community...
